Strictly necessary storage
Local and session storage holds your authenticated session token, interface preferences, and in-flight form state (such as the audit-report date window). These entries are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled without breaking login and the report builder.
Checkout cookies (Stripe)
When you begin a subscription, Stripe's hosted Checkout sets its own first-party cookies on the checkout.stripe.com domain to prevent fraud and secure the payment session. These are governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not this one, and are removed when the checkout session ends.
Analytics
AegisLedgerAI does not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this surface. Custom event tracking, if enabled, records only non-identifying event names and is governed under the Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
Clearing your browser data or signing out removes the session and preference entries. Stripe checkout cookies persist only for the duration of the payment flow. Because the strictly necessary entries cannot be opt-out, the site does not present a cookie consent banner.
